Slow Fashion Owner and founder Jana Beets-Tippett is from Carnarvon in the Northern Cape. She has always had a passion for being creative. In 2018 she bought her first sewing machine and was given material sample books to use. The women in her life inspired her. From there she started upcycling all sorts of things. Leaving a smaller footprint has always been important to her. Upcycling reduces the number of materials and products ending up in the landfill.  All her products are 98% upcycled. From the material, leather, wood, candles, buttons, pictures, pillow stuffing, lint, clothes etc you name it and she uses it.
